Studio Textiles
Dana Boussard came to textile through painting. Her studio pieces reflect her concentrated exploration of paint and fiber, collage and texture. Her romantic sensibility creates fluid images and rich layers of color resulting in a narrative of complex compositions. Her studio pieces have been hung in gallery and museum exhibitions throughout the U.S. and abroad. Boussard was awarded a Florance Trust studio residence in London, the Montana Governors Award for the Arts and the University of Montana Odyssey Fine Arts Award and is a recipient of fellowships from The National Endowment for the Arts and the Western States Arts Federation among others.
