Glass Installations
Dana Boussard approaches the integration of her glass art to its architectural environment with a painter’s eye. Each piece begins with detailed scale drawings. She then treats the material as an expansive canvas, drawing images and shapes with copper and lead, and creating color and texture with hand-rolled glass. The result is a compelling artistic vision that becomes one with the space. She creates her installations on commission from architects, designers, liturgical entities and individuals and welcomes their inquiry. Boussard’s unique glasswork has been on the cover and featured twice in Glass Art Magazine as well as many other publications.
