Scarves
Creating scarves is a natural progression that stems from my extensive career as a textile artist. This newest endeavor incorporates fashion with my designs, creating a product that is both luxurious and accessible.
Each detailed drawing begins with a personal, yet universal story that is a continuance of a narrative that flows throughout all of my work. At its heart is the importance of home, and images and words can be depicted throughout many of the designs.
From my artwork, executed in oil stick, pencil and collage, a photo is made. it is then printed in an artisan workshop in England on fine Italian silk and Scottish wool.
